Anyone else think the Spaghetti trailers reveal a little too much. The ending of FoD with Clint being shot, Manco getting caught by Indio, Frank getting shot by Bronson. They give away the ending. But the good side is they're great!

Yeah, same thing with the Godfather trailer. EVERY DEATH in the movie is shown!

In many ways, its best to see the trailer AFTER you have seen the film!!

I agree with Marco about watching trailers after the movie, same goes for most of the extras included on dvds because you'll always see something you didn't want to.

Another reason I always like watching trailers is sometimes footage that didn't make the final cut makes it into the theatrical trailer.  Off the top of my head, I can think of Guns of Navarone, The Devil's Brigade, Major Dundee, and The Undefeated trailers as having footage that isn't in the movie.

I don't watch trailers....been burned too many times having important plot points revealed.
Nor do I read reviews before seeing the movie...I don't read the back of DVD cases......I even try not to focus on the front cover, as I've had important information revealed by the choice of cover (I can think of the cover of "The Big Country"..w/ Gregory Peck as just 1 example)...........If I'm watching a movie on TCM, Robert Osborne's on MUTE, & I turn away as highlights of the upcoming movie are shown.

And if you are willing to shell out hard cash, Wild East have DVDs full of trailers (although the first disc is sold out).

What I've noticed is the problem with trailers giving away too much seems like it's not as bad now as it was with older movies.  I haven't seen too many new previews that actually show characters in the movie getting killed.  The Godfather preview is probably the worst one I've seen.  Not only do you see what happens, you actually see it in order.  It's basically a summery of the movie.
