Hello all, I must say how much I've enjoyed watching and contributing to this site over the last year or so. So, I've decided to give something back, if everyone thinks it's a good idea. Every week, I'll post one or two rare stills from Leone's films. I have a large collection of stills, foreign books etc to pull from. Some you will have seen before maybe, a lot you hopefully haven't. If the feedback is positive, I'll keep 'em coming. If anyone else would like to contribute at some point, feel free. I'm posting the images as the largest size possible through imageshack ( a free service) so you can view them at the optimal resolution. The other thing I hope for, is that I'll post a still and maybe get some reaction to it, somebody will see something in it I didn't notice. Anyways, here's this week's still:

Thanks guys, for continuing to enlighten me about Leone.....

Funny the way Clint is still "in character" - his mean glance - while Van Cleef is clearly smiling to the photographer, putting on a face that is NOT on the list of authorized Angel Eyes or Mortimer looks.

Spooky to have Clint look right at you like this, normally he is  looking at another actor.

Yeah you're totally right.  Lee Van Cleef really never makes that expression during the movie, clint Eastwood seems to look like that all the time.  I wonder if he was in a bad mood or something.  Maybe that's just the way he likes to pose for pictures.

If Eastwood didn't scowl, maybe he thought people wouldn't recognize him...

Switching films, here's this weeks picture, hopefully you haven't seen it before....

All good stills come to those who wait Smiley I will post one or two every 4 or 5 days.

It is the Leone rare still of the WEEK after all.  Now you can have something to look forward to....

Thanks to everyone for the positive feedback, I will keep them coming for sure.

Ok, since everyone seems to be enjoying these I'll break my own rule, but I'm still going to post these gradually.....switching films again, here's some cool shots of Eastwood's makup from GBU - the second shot is of it being applied.....sorry about the somewhat diminished quality of these ones, but they are rare after all Smiley remember to click once or twice in image shack to get the full size

By the way, has anyone here read the Dark Tower series by Stephen King? that top pic always reminds me of Roland....anyways, a bit off topic....but enjoy

Cool.  Wonder how long it took to get that make up on?  That second picture really shows how nasty it looked.
