Red Dead Revolver..  Its all original Spaghetti Western 60s/70s Soundtrack music.  Theres actually only about 2 tracks by Morricone himself. alot more by Bruno Nicolai his apprentice/conductor of sorts...

And Bacalov. (great tune from 'A Bullet For The General' on the Canyon Climb Level)

Shame Rockstar never released it as a soundtrack like the Grand Theft Auto stuff.

i always thought that the best part of RED DEAD REVOLVER was the music. it was so nostalgic. it was really cool to hear familiar tunes in a game.

the game wasnt that bad either. glad i didnt buy it though. i dont think it was worth it.
the problem was that it wasnt an open space type game like GTA. very in closed and not like a western.
they need to make a western game where u can do whatever u want. steal traveling stagcoaches, steal horses, rob a bank, court a whore, etc. and follow a story line like GTA.


GUN looks somewhat promising.

what with all the other game elements going on during the music? such gun shots and stupid phrases the bad guys shell at u everytime u kill them? i would pass up on that.

Well Morricone isn't cheap these days. Don't think it would of ever been lightly. Rockstar wouldn't fork out for a new score.
No big mystery. Tracks are listed in the back of the PS2/XBOX booklet.

Its not a perfect game. Have to agree on the voices, could of been on a less parody vibe.* Which always seems to happen with any game pitched at certain theme outside status-quo of videogames. The parody style worked great for a 'Secret Of Monkey Islands' maybe it could of followed the same deeper interaction in the Town.
The engine is a little unfinished in places. But wonderful to look at.
But not a bad catch from original owner's Capcom, who had plans on a coin-op arcade machine.
