That's right, that's what I said in my previous post, this is from the definitive edition soundtrack, not a DVD but movie soundtrack. Enjoy!!

Leone Admirer, I'm the one who apologize, my reply was for Dave Jenkins when he mentioned that it look like the new CD soundtrack. You're right Dave and you should order it. Or better, I can put it on Emule for all of those who would be interested. But hey, a definitive edition on DVD, that would be something, even though the actual DVD has some interesting bonuses. Let's see if they're gonna release it for the new HD-DVD or Blue Ray.

Not a Problem Denys  Smiley, a definitive edition would be great and as you said it most likely'll be the HD version.

John Fawell's book "The Art of Sergio Leone's Once Upon a Time in the West" includes several photos, some of which I haven't seen elsewhere.  These include Fonda sitting in his Frank outfit including hat, but no shirt.  Another photo shows a smiling Claudia in her black Jill outfit walking with Bronson and Robards who are in street clothes.  This is an interesting book, got it at the Los Angeles Leone exhibit.

That's a very good book. I still haven't finished it yet but I have finished the Christopher Frayling biography of Leone. Very informative and full of unknown trivial facts. I never knew that in A Fistful of Dollars the tree in the beginning was dug up from someone's backyard. I also never knew that OUATITW was originally suppose to be shot in Las Vegas.

I recently bought the Italian book IL WESTERN ALL'ITALIANA which had these great pics in. I had to take pictures rather than scans as the book is so thick so there is some camera flash marks. Enjoy...

Very nice pictures Le Bon. I really like the Eli Wallach one. I never knew he visited the set of OUATITW.

If we had known, most likely we would have asked Eli when he went to the NFT  Embarrassed
