I saw Django Kill in a better light on second viewing last night.Tomas Milian(if only they could have dubbed his voice!) was excellent in his first starring role, but i think overall there was some (intentionally?) bad acting.Zorro and his black-clad cronies and the ludicrous Indians were quite amusing, though.I guess for the time the gore was shocking but that sort of thing doesn't do anything for me at all!
A bad,but entertaining movie which would have benefited from a better soundtrack-god that  dreadful relentless monotenous bassline, aaarrrgh!!!

actually BANJO i think TOMAS'S starring role in an sw was THE BOUNTY KILLER.

iam 90% sure.

Hex,i had a feeling someone might try and pick me up on that one!!
I have that film under the alternate title "The Ugly Ones" and as far as i am aware(despite what it says on imdb.com) Richard Wyler as the hero has top billing here, and i was only stating a quote i had read elsewhere.Suppose you could call Milian and Wyler co-stars though!

Hex,just looked at my Ugly Ones dvd and both stars names appear in the opening credits together with Wylers name on top.In Hughes latest SW book,in the chapter dedicated to Django Kill,he states that the Bounty Killers as being Milians first western role, his first top billing being in Django Kill.
Whilst on the subject of The Bounty Killers i think the crap music in this otherwise watchable  movie (the audio is poor-at least on my copy)is pretty much on par with Django Kill.

The only version of Django Kill i own is what i taped of the TV last Sunday. From what Marco says and from reading the Django Kill chapter in Hughes "Once Upon A Time in The Italian West" it seems that this is the full English uncut version.

I found Django, Kill and bought and watched it last night. I read an Editorial Review on Amazon recently that made the movie sound incoherant, but I'm guessing the reviewer must have not been paying attention to the movie while he was watching it (the review itself isn't that bad, however). The movie made perfect sense to me, and I thought it was pretty good.

EDIT: I just merged two topics about this movie.

I found this film interesting. The brutal elements certainly were shocking at times but there are certainly others spaghetti's that I much prefered.

this is a bit unfair Banjo. The soundtrack isnt all that bad. Its pretty catchy and rather trippy, but it does get repeatative though(thats all they play!!!).

whats really laughable is the dubbing in the scene where the saloon girl sings "my town". The dubbers didnt even try in the slightest to try and synch up the song with her lips.

I beg to differ, its competes with the Gods Gun score for the worst sw soundtrack!

Oh please, you have to hear "Kid Vengeance"'s soundtrack before you can make such a claim.
