I'm not talking about all the intellectual stuff of artistic merits, perfect fusion of sound & visuals, nihilistic innovations and all the rest, but in terms of pure enjoyment!
Leone made 5 classic westerns but some people find his last two overlong, tedious with not enough action-i don't!
Corbucci made at least half a dozen highly enjoyable classics of his own and you could never accuse him of being boring.
Seeing that no-one else may vote for him and i've been indulging very much in his westerns just now,i've voted for Corbucci-OH NO WHAT HAVE I DONE?

Its early days yet guys!!
Of course i'm not saying Leones westerns aren't better than Corbuccis but  for his longer films its more of an effort to set the time aside to watch these, and when you've only got an hour/hour and a half before bedtime, just slap on the equally enjoyable Django or Mercenary.
It does feel like a very lonely place at the moment though!

I very much understand your postion banjo. I do enjoy very much Corbucci's work but for me I do find that I'll skip to certain scenes too make me happy if I havent enough time to watch fully and I just want to feel better.

I must admit. I think I knew the outcome of this as soon as I saw your post, now posting the same poll in a Corbucci forum perhaps...

Sake of argument I'm afraid Hex. Would be interesting if there was one hanging around these parts somewhere.
