I bought this movie mainly for Morricones soundtrack and it is essential. The main tune is a wonderful melancholy whistled theme played to some wonderful harp like arpeggios-buts theres some great faster paced stuff with scratchy fiddles!! :)

The soundtrack to Corbucci What Am I Doing In The Middle Of A Revolution is the reason i bought that film too but its actually a pretty good 3rd movie in the trilogy!

Its still in my too view pile at the mo.  As you know, I had been a few weeks without SW viewing, but am now back on a roll again.  All I need to do now is sharpen the pencil, and write some reviews!

Firecracker-before i record a verdict officially i'm interested in your comments about the score now that you have this movie :)

Well I heard the score long before I saw the movie(last night) and the score is just wonderful. I say it is essential.
The sequel has a nice title song as well but it never reaches the heights of the first's title song(and the rest of the songs in the sequel are so-so).
damn good sw comedy as well I must say.

the best part of the main theme is that it goes on forever!
It is a 5 minute song! so it just prolongs the greatness.
It gives me a happy go lucky feeling every time I hear it.
