You haven't seen it in widescreen, so you haven't seen it at all.
Plus it is a film that begs to be seen more then once in order to appreciate it's brilliance. I recall you saying you have only viewed it once, correct?

If anything...it is a flawed masterpiece but a masterpiece none the less.

Are you on drugs, Firecracker?

Granted, I haven't seen it in widescreen, but I've watched it at least six times, and probably more than that.  When did I say I've only watched it once?

Then again, I haven't seen "Patton" in widescreen either, and that's very high on my list.  So. . .  Tongue

was that really necessary?

when I said "recall" I meant I "somewhat remember" you saying you saw it once. Mistakes can be made. I'm only human.

and let's not compare Patten to DYS.

You're right Firecracker.  "Patton" is about ten times better than DYS.  Tongue

DYS has more content then America has I think. Not knocking you for your youth, maturity doesn't come with age. Just sayin maybe you have not experienced such a situation before...or maybe you don't have to? Not sure.

All I can say is...if ya don't see it as I do, it's your loss my fellow leonite.

I hope I don't experience a situation where my friend tries to turn me into the law (though I won't be joining any terrorist organizations any time soon. . . or will I?  Shocked).

well thankfully that didn't happen to me either but one betrayal is just as bad as another.

Comparing the two films objectively IMHO:

                    Plot        Continuity   Character Devel.     Music

DYS                B+            C                    A+                    A+

OUATIA          C+            B                    C                       B

Aside from OUATIA main theme...I couldn't give a rat's feces about the music.

For OUATIA, I'd give music an A.

For DYS, I'd give the music an A+++++++++++++++++  Cheesy
