I'm gonna agree there. Usually Morricone's Scores go with the movie in such a way that's as if they were made as one.

Once Upon a Time in America seems like a standdard score except for some instances, but that's not enough.
It's very atmospheric, but not Morricone atmospheric besides few parts here and there.
