Long overdue.  It'll be interesting to see what kind of special features there are, hopefully more than just trailers, and the cover art for the DVDs.  A lot of DVDs lately have had some really cool art, not just generic pictures of the actors starring. Smiley

Yes it is SPHE putting this out. Commanche Station has been restored to 4K digital, and has been projected as such at various festivals.

The quality should be as good as it can possibly be for DVD.

Yes! Afro

It's a shame Seven Men From Now isn't included. I already saw The Tall T, Decision at Sundown and Seven Men From Now. IMO, SMFN is easily the best.

This new edition of The General looks promising, although we won't know about its picture quality for a while: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B001E18222/ref=nosim?tag=dvdbeaver-20&link_code=as3&creativeASIN=B001E18222&creative=373489&camp=211189

tHE new issue of CINEMA RETRO magazine has arrived and there is good news.
The NEXT issue (jan.2009) has a feature on THE BIG GUNDOWN.
tHE piece will focus on efforts to restore the English version to its original length and include, of course, a discussion of the fantastic Ennio Morricone musical score.
