I have been in film school for the past three years, and what I have learned most of all is to study more Leone films! I have watched hundereds of films in school, and none of them match the mastery of Leone's work.
This film, while not a spaghetti, will be shot in the style of Sergio, and production designed in the style of Giorgio de Chirico, and my composer is a huge Morricone fan. Hopefully these elements will make this film great enough so that I can revive the Spaghetti Western in a feature form later.
I realise that no other filmmaker has yet risen to the level of the great Leone, but I sure will try. I'll update this thread with reports from the film as it is being completed.
