Though no one can beat Peter Sellers, Steve Martin was OK in Pink Panther in my book.

Things I liked:

The chalk joke

The dambyugeur Hamburger

"How fatal?"

Things I didn't like:

The music

The emotional part in a comedy

The accent was not very Sellers

Commisioner Dreyfus

What do yall think?

I took my lil bro and sis to it and it was surprisingly very very funny... not much good for anything else, but for a few laughs it was fantastic... you hit it on the money, but I also loved the fart joke, but that's just how I roll... also steve martin doing the most awkward dance he can muster is always worth a decent laugh, in fact some might say it's what he's famous for.

The Variety review wasn't overtly negative which I was quite surprised by, same with readers reviews for the New York Times. I think I'll go and check this out.

Hollywood remakes for Italian Job,Get Carter,Wicker Man(apparently!),Pink Panther and so on.Why can't they leave all these originals alone when they'll already perfect.
I just picked up the Italian Job Special Edition and they've done a fantastic job with the presentation, the stereo surround track, commentary and everything else and i'll always refuse to watch the recent remake which unsurprisingly i've heard is totally crap!
