Just about anything is better than TGS.

I will always take Leone, even in diluted form, over any SW director.

Face To Face .........Corbucci's best film.......far & away beats out My Name Is Nobody.
It's just a better movie.

BFTG was the start of all these revolutionary sw's but i prefer the Nero/Musante partnership over Volonte/Castel.BTFTG may possibly be more authentic but the humour, music, and action are better in The Mercenary.

This one is pretty close but again the Nero/Milian duo wins over Volonte/Castel even if Companeros is a little weaker than The Mercenary.

Although great,Companeros is a not quite up to scatch imitation of The Mercenary even with Milian being arguably a better foil for Franco Nero.I think Jack Palances Curly is better than the marijuana smoking John.A little too match waffle in Companeros.

Klaus Kinski, the cinematography,Morricones music are just fantastic in TGS but the performances of Milian/Volonte/Berger,the storyline and action in Face To Face win it for me!

My Name Is Nobody is just such a brilliant homage to both sw and aw.Fonda and Hill work great together and i much prefer the feel good factor of this movie over TGS.

Thanks Leone Admirer and i've been encouraged by the response so far.I'm not 100% sure about all of the selections(i'm not a big fan of Django Kill-but this did very well in another poll!) but i'm confident that the same favourite 10 would eventually come out on top whatever selection i put up.I'm intrigued to find out the final order in which these top 10 sw's come out.
Anyway its all just meant to be a bit of fun!!!

This is a close one but I like TM just a tad better, maybe its Morricone's music, but ABFTG is top shelf excellent.
