Interesting comparision. the two pieces of music are very similar to each other  indeed.
Ennio does tend to recycle his old and good stuff during his older age.

Actually, I don't know how many hundred of thousand of musics there is in the world with "mi ré# mi" (excuse me, it's a french way of writing music)... As says Ennio, the tune itself is less the point than the way it is used, played and with what it is played...
Moroever, this theme of the untouchable isn't a copy of OUATITW, it is only a varitation of one of the main themes of the Untouchable, and it is the only moment where it sounds (accidentaly) like OUATITW. Those who have both CDs know it...
Still, it is amazing, and i had never noticed:)

But a more stunning similarity can be noticed between the man with the harmonica and My Fault (from my name is nobody):) And in that case, ennio wanted us to remind of OUATITW:)
