Has anyone heard Ennio's contribution to Morrissey's new album, Ringleader of the Tormentors?

Morricone provides orchestration on 'Dear God Please Help Me', but i havent heard it in full ye, despite being a Smiths fan.

Yeah I have heard it and to be honest despite me also being a huge fan of Morrissey I don`t like the new album. Its llike the songwriting is there, but the music is letting him down. Come back Marr all is forgiven. Strangely my three favorites in music are all Morri`s ie. Morricone, Morrissey and off course Morrison (Jim).

Marr and Morricone, now that would be a team-up.

Read an interview last of morrissey talking about the new album and the fact that he is now based in Rome. Morrissey was relating the fact that Morricone did the arrangements on one of the songs and stated that whilst recording they heard that the Maestro was due in and hoped he might like to do some arrangeing etc. Apparently the producer guy says no chance, everybody`s asked him at some time or another and he always declines. Anyway Morriscone turns up has a look at one of the songs and says yes, next minute his full orchestra are busily seating themselves. If you are a fan of Morricone you can tell, he does use signature chords and harmonies, he`s the best, simple as that.

Best at what?
Musician?   Nope
Singer?      Distinctive but not to my taste!
Songwriter?  Never in a million years-even in the dire pop world!!!

dear god please help me is the best song on the album i think, i'm not a smiths or  ,orrissey fan, but that song is quite nice, even though i do think morriocne contribution is quite tame really, it isn't as orchestral as i thought it would be, it's quite and starts to come in about 3 minutes into the song

still nice though
