I've always enjoyed the pre-political correctness innuendo fun of these movies since i were a kid and my fave five would be:-
Carry on Camping
Carry on Cleo
Carry on Girls
Carry on Abroad
Carry on Up The Jungle

We musn't forget about Carry On Cowboy-a Euro western anyone?

Last week I caught on TV while working carry on doctor it was the fisrt time in many years that I had seen a carry on movie as they were shown so much they lost all meaning but this gave me lots of good laughs.
Jim Dale was excellent he really was the fore runner to Jim Carey never had there been a more idiotic english twit than the parts he portrayed

Thats easily the best hospital based Carry On especially with Frankie Howerd in one of his two rare inclusions in the series!
Jim Dale is of course well known for taking on all of his own stuntwork! He must've been bonkers! Wink

Nearly a Freudian slip there I think Banjo...!  Guess you're a tit and bum man then?!  Don't you guys think tit, bum and tum man has a better ring to it? Kiss
I think the whole p.c thing has gone too far even on non human issues, apparantly blind people now prefer to be called visually impared and you could be considered treading on sensitive ground to refer to them as blind.  I used to work for a charity where rather stupidly the word comes up in the name but we couldn't refer to them as that!  Anyway, enough of my rambling, as long as people remain sensitive to the feelings of others that's ok; we should all be able to take a joke as long as there's no malice in it and there wasn't in any of the Carry Ons.  Maybe it's the Irish blood in me but then I'm part German too not to mention stiff Brit, so...! Becareful of the tuning mechanism of that banjo of yours - if you spill beer on it it might go off like a damp squib!  Grin  Grin
