Not the 50+ rip-off sequels. I am talking about the one and only Franco Nero back in the role.

In an interview on the Blue underground  dvd he hinted that he might want to make another one, of course this seems like he is pulling our chains rather than being serious.

But what if he was? Would you like another heaping helping of Django? I say "YES!"

BUT

only if Nero is on board as the famous gunslinger. And I think they should try something different from the last entry I dont want Django traveling to central america. Keep it in the west!

Yeh, it could be during the Mexican Revolution and Hugo is now the main baddie. Django could be after him because he rapes Maria who between the two films gets married to Django. Instead of a tiny little saloon-keeper befriending Django it could be a Juan-type Mexican peon!

Now all we need is a guy called Sergio from Italy to direct.

Hugo was killed in the first one.

he cant be the main bad guy. there should be somebody new and off the wall.

Wouldnt mind Django taking on the kkk(though their names are never mentioned) again. The villian could be Tomas Milian, or maybe somebody younger.

Oh yeh! I forgot Hugo was killed! Major Jackson and the Mexican army took care of him. I haven't seen the movie in a while.  ::) What I always wondered is if Jackson is racist against the Mexicans then why is he hanging out with the Mexican Army?

its a huge plot hole. My guess is that the mexican army knows nothing about his fanatic murders and he is only using them to protect his gold. Or maybe it isnt his gold in the first place and he is trying to get friendly with them just so he can gain there trust and rob them blind.

either that or the script is poorly written.

Either that or he's using them for protection now that his 48 men are dead.

By the way, did you ever read the Italian dialogue to the film? It's 1000 times better than the English dialogue, especially during the climax scene.

yes I like the whole trinity(sign of the cross) as opposed to the crappy english dialogue

"now begin your prayer"

"alright...now"

"I cant hear ya"

"can hear this!!!!?????"

the italian dialogue is much better...

Django says "it shall be done".

I was searching through my dvd to get the italian wording correct because I didnt want to ruin it when writing here. Then I was about to write it in spanish since the language(in that scene) is VERY similar. But you got there before me.

I would like another for the sake of having another spaghetti but as ever with tacking a sequel for a film thats aged 10 + it'll never live up to the original product.
