Yea and maybe we should be greatfull, otherwise we'd have more "The Quick & The Dead" type films with female leads.

On a side note, they may get a kick out of McCabe & Mrs. Miller, its also tragic love story that is well done.

I really like the "Quick and the dead".
Very spaghetti on acid.

I do like Viva Maria with Bardot and one other bit of crumpet in the leads!

Funny. in weissers book he says he is a british actor and he just puts on a different accent to go with the whole cowboy motif.

more reason for me not to trust weisser.

I said Joe Kidd, but I'm not a huge fan of either of those movies.  I'd take Two Mules for Sister Sara any day of the week over JK or Pale Rider.

Just saw an interview on TCM tonight with Shirley McClaine, and she was asked about TMFSS, and she told an amusing story of how Clints horse was misbehaving so he got off and walked up and punched it in the nose, the horse behaved after than,  Cool, sounds like Clint learned a bit of horse wrangling "Spanish" Style.  Cool

even though it has numerous inaccuracies I am not complaining. At least I know the names of almost every spaghetti western in existance, give or take 50 to 100 that are not in the book.

It makes my job easier.

From reading an Eastwood biography i don't believe this story because Clint is a massive animal lover and won't put up with the slightest of cruelty amongst from any employee Undecided
