This is kind of interesting, if you ignore the fact that what was actually screened may not be what Nixon saw (maybe Pat watched while Dick dozed?). Some of the choices have to be Pat's (Three Coins in the Fountain?) and Nixon may have been doing other things during some (many?) of those other screenings. Still, the films that were screened more than once may be revealing: Patton was projected 3 times, and films that were shown twice include LoA and GBU. I wouldn't want to venture more than the supposition that this shows Nixon had great taste in films, but others, less circumspect thinkers than myself (of course), will want to talk about invading Cambodia and whatnot . . .
