I don't know how many times this episode was repeated but i only saw it on the original screening from what must over 20 years ago.My memorys very vague but i do remember a "duel" between (i think) Rik Mayal and Ade Edmundson where they both gob out some flem only for the wind to blow back the flem back all over one of them Grin If yours is more peurile than that i can't wait to see it! Wink

A review of Firearm has just been added to Shobarys "fanworks" category with some photo stills.

http://spaghettiwesterns.1g.fi/misc/fanwork/fire/arm.htm

Shobarys a little harsh in his opinion but for the $200 budget this movie cost to make i maintain its a good first stab at a sw,and i'm looking forward to the (Sartana influenced-apparently) follow up to Firearm.

Follow up as in "next film". NOT a sequel.

And at least Shobary is honest with his review. much rather get true negative comments then false compliments.

Too bad he didnt have that coffin rating set up. oh well.

You gotta bear in mind that Shobary gives 23% to Today Its Me Tommorow It You,20% to Django The Bastard and 10% to 4 of the Apocalypse.
I suspect that if you'd have managed to get an ageing Gianni Garko into Firearm then he would've given it 100% Roll Eyes

Are you saying that GG is better than all those rated below that you've seen? Shocked

NO WAY!

I'm just saying that it deserves its place. Mostly every other film below it is pretty much out of whack!

The only thing that is noteworthy to be placed as "worse than GG" is "shoot the living, pray for the dead" and "Aquasante Joe" (holy water Joe).

Saw it on Turner classic movies (surly this is not a classic  Roll Eyes ) a few years ago. dont remember too much of it only that it was downright rubbish.

I notice Miles Deem who directed Adios Companeros which gets the big 3% rating also did Savage Guns one of the better sw's in the Diamond box!

I have a mini review of Savage Guns (his name was Sam Walash but they called him Amen) here...

http://www.fistful-of-leone.com/forums/index.php?topic=2976.30

its on the first post.
it is a really bad film but a highly entertaining one.
I have said before that Deem has a real eye for dynamic shots (sometimes) but he has way too many continuity errors and fails to make a coherent plot.
