What with Noodles Leones upcoming film,Marco Leones The Ugly,The Pugly and The Ugly Pugly (i would really love to see and review this one Marco!)it makes you wonder how many more of us have a sw film hidden away in the closet.
Leone Admirer possibly? ::)

I really want to see Leone Admirer's film noir short.
But the sneaky goat is hiding it away from me! ;D
I mentioned it once but not much was said about it and I didnt want to badger him with it so I am patiently waiting for his reply ;)

You mentioned in a pm about the upcoming full length western which i understand will have Sartana influences? Will you be striving to use more locations,a western town or Almeria possibly?

oh no no.
I doubt it will be full lenght. I am guessing it would be at least 50 minutes to an hour considering alot more characters and story.
Personally I just want to experiment on how to make a good gunfight on this one.

And yes the Sartana influence is there. and expect an interesting use of communion wafers.

You can't have a Sartana movie without a NEW gimmick so i'm very intrigued about the communion wafers.
What about using some cool Bruno Nicholai music in this one and can Mitchell Lee Davis play a Fernando Sancho type role?
50-60 minutes sounds great and will allow a lot more time for plot and character development.

how did you ever guess?
He plays the leader of mexican bandits who travel by boat through the sea.

which reminds me this is more of an "eastern" and will be set on a more tropical setting, but it will have a nice period cottage near the beach(which will be great setting for the final confrontation) and an abandoned fishing village which will be used as a ghost town.

Will there be a different leading man to Victor Fernandez this time and some horses maybe?

Horses will hopefully be used. They are in the script but rather hard to come by around here.
sadly Victor will not be attending this outing for he is much to busy teaching at the moment. The leading baddie will be a vain character who enjoys to look at himself in a personal mirror. Auditioning for that will occur tomorrow actually.
The leading man(the anti-hero) will be played by Roberto Escobar who is a working actor whom I met during my short time in college. You can see Roberto's film list and picture on Imdb.

Hopefully your new bunch of actors will be more familiar with sw's but it would be even better to have horses as well ;)

I will certainly try to get some but whatever participation the horses will obtain will be minimal

I will be recieving Noodle's western soon. I usually despise other film students short films. They are all rather bad but Noodle's western looks out-standing!
I really want to see Marco's two films as well. They both look like funny parodies and I dont mind the modern day back drop so long as it is a comedy.
