Tonight watched "Track of the Cat" very strange gothic snow bound western with Robert Mitchum,  no basic Western style action at all, the whole film centers around a disfunctional ranch family with three brothers, a drunken patriarch, a bible thumping mother, two younger women on a sister the other the fiance of the youngest brother, and an old indian with supersticious predictions of a black pather attacking their cattle with the first snowfall.  A Panther comes and Mitchun and his brother go after it, his bro is killed by the panther, and Mitchum goes after it with disaterous results for himself.

Had great scenery but didn't really hold my interest much.

Isn't there a Charles Bronson western that takes place in the snow with a tribe of Indians?
