Hi, I'm new here.

OUATIA is the only Leone film I havent seen yet, but was planning to get the DVD soon. Just wondering, how much is Treat Williams in this movie? He's listed fifth on the IMDb cast list. No spoilers, please, just was curious if he had a big part in the movie or not. Thanks! Smiley

Small role but he was pretty good. I liked his character, he's loosely based on Jimmy Hoffa.

Thanks for the fast response. Too bad he only has 15 minutes out of 3 1/2 plus hours. Can't wait to see the movie, anyway.

You'll like it. It's like a 1930's gangster version of Once Upon a Time in the West. Great film.

That's cool. I've loved all of Leone's movies so far (even Fistful of Dynamite). Can't wait to see this one.

Yeah, he's in all of three scenes, but he still does a good job with the material he has.  However I should add that apparently he had a lot of scenes cut from the movie.  He does have more screen time than Joe Pesci though. . .

BTW - am I correct in assuming your signature is from MST3K: The Movie?  Wink

I know, me too. In the original screenplay he had a much much bigger role and so did Treat Williams.

That I don't know. There is roughly 40 minutes of footage not seen in our director's cut. They don't want to release it because the scenes have no audio. They include more development of the Eve character ( Noodles' girlfriend ) and a funeral van stalking Noodles around the cemetary in 1968, according to the SL novel I have ( something to do with death ).

I know that the one scene with Williams and Woods in 1968 was shot but not dubbed.

I don't think Pesci actually had a significantly bigger part though, maybe one or two scenes.  In the shooting script he was only in the scene with Joe in Fat Moe's.    Williams definitely did though. . .

I didn't know the Williams/Woods scene was filmed. It had dialogue based on OUATITW: " You wouldn't hit an old cripple, now would you? "
