  Well, it's official.  We know the world's coming to an end.  TCM is actually showing White Comanche this Saturday afternoon.  Of all the spaghetti westerns they could show, why this one?  How about that perfect copy of The Mercenary they showed a few years back?

  And it's not just a one time thing!  They're showing it again in August as part of Summer Under the Stars.  Must be part of Joseph Cotten day because the day TCM does William Shatner day is the day I think we'll all drop dead where we stand.

I have a full screen version of White Comanche on one of my spaghetti western box-sets. Never watched it, so I'll wait to see it on TCM.

A curiosity to see Shatner and in a double role. When he plays the comanche twin he's funny (he looks like the comedian and Leone alumnus Carlo Verdone) and the story acquires a bit of grit lacking from the traditional subplot of the two rival gangs in a town. Some known faces (even Camardiel as a stagecoach driver, if I'm not mistaken) makes it viewable to SW fans. 6\10
