One star.

Out of five, I presume.

Well I was rather excited about this movie. Was. I thought the first hour or so was actually very entertaining, they kept all the cards shown at the table but it worked cause of the cast. After Fonda arrives at the prison everything collapses, and turns into a complete mess. The plot doesn't make much sense with the characters, and the fact that they were trying so hard to make it a comedy of some sort only worsens it all. The ending is indeed out of the sky, but, as everything before didn't make much sense, I can't say it worked for me.

I also think the music constantly disorients the viewer: not only that it doesn't fit the tone of the plot - it's horrible beyond that.

5/10
