http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0062736/

I disagree with the comments at IMDB which consider this a great SW. The plot is quite linear, without any surprise if not the way the lame avenger is gonna make his ol' pards die. One death is impressive, that of the second brother, and I won't tell how it is performed. The finale may be considered original by some, I consider it stupid and irritating.
The score is sometime too obtrusive and though professional is nowhere near memorable.
Woods is a kind of George Hilton lookalike. I knew him from some Franco movies. Not bad.

I'm with the Titster on this one, marginally.

I'm in agreement with the fact that the IMDBers praise it far too much but overall, I enjoyed it better than Titoli did.
It's slightly above average fare punctuated by some really great scenes, like the one in which Woods pays mexican peasents 10,000 dollars to murder somebody (a "cockroach", as he describes the unfortunate bastard)  in public.
Another great scene has the Avenger strangle an avengee with the hair from the scalp of the revenger's dead sister(!), which is wonderfully perverse.

One set piece is pretty lame. It involves a poker game. The stakes? The lives of the two players.
It's a scene that was done infinitely better in a spaghetti western called Death Sentence, which came out the same year as this one.

Recommended even for the people with a marginal interest in the genre.
Worth a watch, at least once, for the sadistic violence and solid musical score.
There is even a pair of boobs in it.

7/10

SPOILER

Yeah, better that his brother in law deem Woods psychotic and kill him to stop him from murdering an innocent rather than have this Deus ex machina/hallucination gimick solve the problem for him.

The ending in the German version is totally messed up. At least that's what I've heard (I thankfully do not have the German version). This is one of my favorites!
