It's not AS confusing...but it's close.

dont find either film confusing...perhaps the plots are a bit more involving but thats about it.

"West" is pretty straight forward up until the sex scene with Frank and Jill. But it isnt a complicated mess. It's intricate.

Still it requires you to pay close attention so you follow the story. The first time I saw it I loved it, but I was left with some questions.

OUATITW is one of the best films ever made, and the current Paramount DVD is one of the best DVDs ever made in terms of image (sound is good, the extras are adequate). Technoscope films are notoriously difficult to transfer to video, but they did an amazing job with this one.

It would be worth paying anything to have this disc, but we can have it for almost nothing. It is the best DVD value there is and ever has been. You don't even have to pay $10 for it; I've seen it for 7.99, I think, either at Fred Meyer or Wal-Mart or both. Amazing.

Well with the proponderence (sic) of "Were Cheyenne and Morton on the same train?" threads here and on IMDB, I'd say quite a few people would. . .

I never understood how anyone could mistake Morton's train with one operating for the public. The film never explains it but it's pretty obvious.

these are the same folks still fighting over whether Mortimer was avenging his sister or wife in FAFDM so I wont even count what they have to say about WEST's plot as valid.

I never understood that either. Mortimer even says in the movie that she's his sister!

( The following is ALL sarcasm )

Oh yes, and the man she was with was actually her secret lover and the man who rapes the girl is actually Mortimer pissed that his wife slept with another man which means, metaphorically speaking, in the showdown Mortimer shot himself. Indio was his alter ego!

why did Frank wanna spend his time watching Mortimer's Dry Rott raise up higher and higher to begin with anyways...?

Seems to me he could have made "a killin'" without the dead weight altogether!!!

LOL.

It was Mortons RR, don't think Frank could have gotten control of it.
