I love Bad Day At Black Rock, first saw it when I bought the WB Controversial Classic's Collection and loved it. Tracy has a great perfromance in it.

One of Borgnine's best performances was in Emperor of the North. He was so twisted and evil in it, he could've been Frank's son.  Grin

Well, I caught two new Marvin movies, and taped one other Point Blank.  The first one was a western called Pillars of the Sky.  By no means a great western, but I really enjoyed it.  Marvin, still in his supporting roles, plays Sgt. Carracart.  Featuring an Irish brogue (which sounds a little off  Wink), he doesn't have a huge part, but what's there is solid.  And his final showdown with some Indians is great stuff.  Good cast too with Jeff Chandler, Dorothy Malone, Ward Bond in a great part, and Michael Ansara.

The other one I caught was Eight Iron Men, a psychological drama set in WWII in an unspecified year or town.  Marvin gets a juicy part as Sgt. Toomey, the leader of an eight man squad who face a tough decision; save one of their own or wait for official orders to do so, and all before they're pulled off the line in a few hours.  Nice little twist at the end too.

And I taped Point Blank, so I'll get to that as soon as I can.  Really looking forward to seeing it.
