http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0067135/

http://www.spaghettiwestern.altervista.org/giorno_giudizio.htm

This could have been better. There's the gimmick of the FFDM carillon turned into a drummer-boy toy marking the time for the draw. There's a horrible make-up (everybody but the other characters can tell it is such at first glance)  which should guarantee anonimity to the avenger (The eyeglasses are of a '70's mold which has little to do with those you could have found a hundred years before). There's Rosalba Neri who is always pleasing to see, though here she's dressed. There's a dozen of well known faces of the SW's (which proves the movie was not made in economy). A pair of sequences (the spear throwing, the wagon in the woods) keep some trace of interest, but very weak because they're too long. One is more impressed by how bad the rest of the movie is shot. You can do without this.
The music is borrowed from Hellbenders. I think there are at least another 2 or 3 movies which did as well.

In the late sixties there was in Italy a commercial making use of Hellbenders' theme. Can't remember what the ad was about: maybe biscuits...

Finally got around to viewing this one,and i found out that mine is the cut version mentioned in that imdb review. Sad

I enjoyed the gimmicky toy drummer and the flashbacks to which it relates. However i didn't recognise straight away that the grave digger with the dodgy disguise was the stranger Embarrassed ,but i enjoyed him spooking out the town with his rantings about "the ghost of vengeance" and "doomsday is nigh".

It was fun watching the stranger killing off the bad guys after winding up the toy drummer, and also (Django The Bastard style) even displaying the coffins to his victims before gunning them down. But unfortunately the film runs out of steam and ideas halfway through but luckily it had that brilliant Morricone Hellbenders score to carry me through to the end.

My rating ,a mediocre 5 out of 10. Huh

Agreed, the first half hour is a lot of fun and very fast paced but afterwards things start to dull down and you can tell ideas were running low.
The wagon wheel torture was creative but badly edited, then again it comes to my attention that my copy is cut (banjo?). Perhaps the scene makes a bit more sense in the complete version.
I'm a fan of the hero's leather rain coat, I think it looks cool  Afro

not a bad effort at all and I think it deserves a just above average rating for the neat gimicks.
The Morricone music was another saving grace.
Wouldn't mind picking up a better quality version.

There's Rosalba Neri who is always pleasing to see, though here she's dressed.

Their's a bit of nudity with her when she's putting on the indian costume for the traveling show sequence.
This is on my copy at least.
