I was laying awake in bed last night as you do thinking about films in general as you do once the nearest and dearest is asleep and I started thinking about all the great movies over the years and how you could ruin them just by putting the totally wrong actor or actresses in the lead role.
So hears my pitch hope you get some laughs as you think about how these guys act and how they would destroy the roles and think up some others.

1. Ghandi   Arnold Swartzenegger
2. Saturday night Fever  John Wayne
3. Paint your wagon  Clint Eastwood
4. The Godfather  Danny De Vito
5. Die Hard  Jim Carey
6. Braveheart  Sylvester Stallone

Don't let him see that idea, or he might make it.  ::)

He would also produce, direct, and distribute the film, since nobody else would want to have anything to do with it.

What's wrong with him? Nothing, really. His comedy is 100,000,000 times more enjoyable than the comedy most of the people in my class love (Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo)

HA HA HA (mad laughter I wondered if you would spot that one) Poor old Clint made a howler taking on this role, he should have stuck to shooting people as his singing voice does not hit the mark and just watching it makes you cringe.

I agree he's not that bad a singer but after his first run of action movies up till paint your wagon the wrench at seeing him in this type of film is just to much for mortal man to comprehend.
Its like sitting down to watch Dirty Harry and half way through Harry bursts into song, say in the bank heist scene and giving us Singing in the Rain after the car knocks over the fire hydrant.
One thing that does excite me about comedy actors. is when they switch over to playing real nasty parts, it works so well, Robin Williams is great as a creepy guy as well as a little known UK tv actor called Matthew Kelly.
They are already mad with the comedy so playing physcio killers makes that maddness really work in serious parts

Yeah Willaims is truly gifted as an actor. He plays villains with nasty glee.

Perhaps his character in "one hour photo" can't be called a "villain" but more of a disturbed person.
