This is a SW without western. Maybe not even the spaghetti. I didn't know what to expect before watching it and I don't know what to do about it now. I just wonder who was interested in watching it at all. A half-western set in Spain.  With lots of dialogues centered on politics and a love story between Hill and Buccella. From a political standpoint this is light-stuff, sometimes verging on the ridiculous (read: didascalic); from the action point of view it is slow moving and Hill starts shooting only in final 10 minutes. So one understands that, unfortunately, this was made before the Trinity movie and when Hill was just a star. Hehad not a fixed character yet, at least as far western were concerned. I don't want ot say that it's ugly, some dialogues (like the one at the landowners conference is well thought and delivered) only that it is a movie that goes nowhere, without being boring though.
The Martelli score, though tolerable, sometimes gives the impression of having been composed for another kind of movie.

I suspect that just like say the Carry Ons in Britain or John Wayne films in the USA,the "Western All'Italiana"are something of an institution in Italy and are never off the tv screen.
Titoli,i envy you.

Well, though you accused me once of not reading your posts, apparently you also didn't read mine, uh? Is this a reprisal?Wink Or you already forgot the answer? Roll Eyes Anyway Banjo is (alas, only partially) right in presuming that if you understand italian SW are easier to come by.
But you are lacking in inventiveness and purposedness. If I were you I'd try to get in touch with the reviewer at IMDB. You can ask for a copy or for the info where his copy comes from. Should he not give you an answer, I think you should make a try at e-bay Australia. What do you think about that?

Should I feel offended that you don't memorize every word I say?

Anyway, forget what I said in the last post. I did your homework:

Actually there was also a cheaper bootleg:

It is interesting that this version clocks at 105'. Mine was 20' minutes shorter (which, believe me, is an advantage).
