Not much interest in Strode either, I'm sad to say.

I wouldn't say that, its just that I need to pick up Sargent Rutledge someday, all I have is Liberty Valance, OUTITW and Keoma.

He was great  in KEOMA,CHUCK MOOL and THE DESERTER but has a rather upsetting tendency of expiring too early in his movies. Cry

He's in Bill Lustig's fine ode to italian crime films VIGILANTE starring Robert Forster, Fred Williamson and Strode.

He's in KINGDOM OF THE SPIDERS probably the best of the nature amuck movies. This one also has William Shatner and Tiffany Bolling.

He's also in di Leo's excellent mafia movie MANHUNT playing a hitman alongside of Henry Silva.

"Down in peaceful VERDIE Valley will our last forever More" Gotta love that intro by Rocky Burnett to Kingdom of the Spiders..it has absolutely nothing to do with the movie but it's perfect Smiley.  The  Echoplex tape delay treatment on the keys is just perfect, it makes the song that would be otherwise typical albeit cool country to another level.  I love Shatner in that role.  "Rack".... what a cool name, I think Shatner's acting is picked on WAY too much.  Woody plays a really good part.  It is the best of that genera,.. I agree. Afro  I saw it when I was a kid in 80's on TBS late night at my grandparents house.  Scared the fool out of me!

Cheers,

Eric

Shatner sucks - he deserves to be picked on. I don't even like him as a camp actor.
