Here is a picture of the object. So whats left is to name the movement, the artist, and the Leone film where the object displayed was used prominently by one of the most important painters of the 20th century

I almost forgot about this hanging out there unresolved.

Ok here are the answers:

The Object:

The wooden crutch.

The Film:

A Fistful of Dollars, you see it right at the beginning in the sequence where Joe rides into San Miguel and passed the corpse on the horse going the other way. The corpse is being held up in the saddle by that Andalasian wooden crutch.

The Artistic Movement:

Dada/Surrealism. Leone was fond of the surrealistic artists particularly of the Greek/Italian Chirico an example below:



The Artist:

Salvador Dali, he made quite nunber of paintings featuring crutches.
