Saw "Borat" over the past few days...couldn't see what the fuss was about.

I was too distracted in wondering how much of the film was staged as opposed to the pranks  actually being caught on the fly(because that really is what the movie is about. A Tom Green show strecthed out for an hour and a half).

Most of the funny jokes are in the trailer. Give it a miss.

that's pretty much what I expect of it. I've seen a few interview clips with borat and only a tiny percentage of it was funny.

The character could be funnier but Cohen is obviously limited on what he has to offer. The same jokes are recycled over and over again.

I saw Borat a while ago and thought it was okay. It was very funny, but in the middle it got bad and the ending was eh.

just finished watching it. the movie was garbage. I laughed once in a while of course but most of the jokes were pretty bad.

the funniest part of the movie is how much money it has made so far.

Boring comedy, made primarily for profit, full of Borat's worn out jokes. Don't like it.

Wow, a lot of haters of Borat on here. I find the movie to be vastly entertaining, personally, and one of the best comedies in recent memories.

I don't think moviesceleton would enjoy it that much, not being from America and all.

But yeah, the constant references and impressions of Borat I hear every day certainly detract from the overall humor of the movie.

I thought the idea was to laugh at you Americans. And that's something I enjoy!

Overrated as hell. The biggest problem is that (contrary to the publicity) most of the Americans Borat encounters come off quite well, and are actually amazingly tolerant at many points. If there were more scenes like the one with the frat boys it could have been a classic.
