There's no denying that I myself has the most boring, biased taste in music I have personally ever heard of. Most of my day, I just listen to The Beatles and Billy Joel.

Aside from that, I ocassionaly listen to The Rolling Stones, Eric Clapton, and The Eagles.

60's and 70's rock
80's metal
80's and 90's hiphop

I've been discovering some good funk records as well as of late, but I dont think the genre has enough goodies for me to say I'm a funk fan.

ok, I will do.

one recent song I found that I like is The Beginning of the End - When She Made Me Promise

the meters have some all right songs, but they do get too repetetive for me.

Mostly Mark Knopfler and Dire Straits - and Morricone. ;D

Rock and some types of country as well (such special Czech type which is hard to describe, taking from almost any type of music, but based on country.)

There are two kinds of films in this world:those which stay, even when their genre is forgotten, and those which don't.

thought I'd post the song for you grandpa, maybe you'll like it too. it doesn't have any vocals, but the music should put you in a good mood.

The Beginning of the End - When She Made Me Promise

I only found the song like last week, but I realised I've been listening to the beginning for more than 10 years. it was used as an intro on this hiphop classic:

Pete Rock & Cl Smooth - They Reminisce Over You (T.R.O.Y.)

Right now I'm listening to Kompakt's annual sampler, this one called Pop Ambient 2007.

Man here's a question for the ages, that I've been thinking about....Quentin Tarantino has said in his films there are only two kinds of men--Elvis fans and Beatles fans.

Hip hop variation if you're into it....are you a Biggie man or a Tupac man?  Very hard for me to decide.

I really like Tupac when he gets political...such as in "Changes" or "Keep Your Head Up".  Biggie doesn't have that aspect really at all in his rap.

But when it comes to pure angry testosterone tracks....it's pretty much a toss up.  Biggie has stuff like "Gimme the Loot", Tupac has stuff like "Hit Em Up".

It's a toss up for me

The only Tupac song I enjoy. Shame it's a remake.
