Anyways, would they let The Peacemaker into a bar? I DON'T THINK SO!
They'll let me in, I just can't sit at the actual bar.

The show starts at 8 o'clock, so dinner would be more appropriate. Any suggestions for a decent italian restaurant around RCMH?

Well Radio City says we should be there by 7PM, so we should meet at 5PM or even before if we want to BS even more. lol.
Italian restaurants (excluding pizza joints) around Mid Town & Times Square NYC tend to be real cheap touristy type places (stuck together spaghetti with acidty tomato sauce type joints) or very very expensive, there are better Italian restaurants but not within walking distance.
A classic great seafood place in Grand Central Station is The Oyster Bar, close to Radio City too.

Thank God for MapQuest! Ideally, I would like to meet at a place close enough to RCMH to allow us to walk.
I'll be driving in from Pittsburgh and it would be convenient to just park the car at the meeting
place instead of worrying about finding a parking place close to RCMH. Any others driving into
NYC?

I ate at an excellent Italian restaurant the night when I went to see Spamalot on Broadway. It's not that expensive, great meal, and here's the best part it's only a few blocks away from Radio City.
It's the type of Italian restaurant that serves huge portions, perfect for a large gathering of people:

I got this response from another board:
Try Carmine's, great food with family style portions.

Seems like a popular place.

It is a popular place. I heard that Frank Sinatra use to eat in there. Whether it's a rumor or not, I don't know. But that's what I heard.

Is your family Italian Peace?, some of the reviews aren't that great on the page you posted , Italians are a bit more critical of Italian Restaurants, lol, any way read them.
Here's another review that says at least the protions are large and its rated good by some mediocre by others, being Italian I'm always leary of Italian Restaurants especially those recomended by non Italians they tend to be a bit less disciminating about the food. You don't want to spend a lot of $ on sauce & noodles, just a thought guys.

I like the idea of value (i.e. huge portions). The point of the meeting is to share our excitement. As long as we don't end up in the ER for food poisining...and miss the concert.
The idea of italian food is an «hommage» to Ennio and Segio's nationality.
