I have a question.
in this movie, is El Indio still actually ramon from the first movie or is he playin a new character.
Cause when Eastwood brings Indio's friend to him after getting him out of prison it seems like
he doesn't recognise him. But in another part of the movie you can see Mortimer in a library i think and is looking
in a book where he sees a picture of a newspaper from A Fistfull Of Dollars, when eastwood has shot down all of the Rojo's. So is El Indio a new character or is he actually still Ramon from the first movie.

Indio is a 100% different character than Ramon, just like Mortimer and Angel Eyes are completely different characters, Mario Brega ia a different character in all three films (and dies in each one) ....

Mario Brega is of course playing triplets across the three films. Angel Eyes is Mortimer's evil twin. Ramon and Indio are proof that everyone has a doppleganger.

The newspaper does not show a scene fron Fistful, it's one of Monco's (Eastwood) previous bounty Killings. I think it says over the photo ........ Brothers, from memory.

It would be hard for them to be the same character because then they would've gotten killed twice.  Roll Eyes

and that he survived the shooting at the end of a fistfull of dollars, but now i get it.

I believe the newspaper showed the Morton Bros. - correct me if I'm wrong though.

There is a deleted scene in GBU, which Tom Bosley's evil twin disposes of them all in a maniacal fit of rage.

Clint isn't even the same character in all three movies. Same attire, but different guy.

cue CJ's campfire explanation...
