name some of your favorite leone qualities that made him the legand he is now.

1. use of extrememe close-ups
2. tuco
3. villian's character eccentricitys
4. humor
5. w/ the dollar series, it's interresting to see leone build from fistful to GB&U
6. tuco's beating. chained to a chair w/ braga about to gouge his eyes out
&. rod steiger's accent

these are just basic examples.  there must be somebody out there that has possibly caught something leone did w/ the camera that lots of us may not have caught.

The way Lee Van Cleef when approaching the saloon where Guy Calloway is hiding out keeps his eyes forward and wraps his bridle straps around the hitching post with out taking his eyes off the front of the building.

The stylish way Lee Van Cleef holsters his revolver.  Afro

Hey, even though the sombrero suggests otherwise, Esteban Rojo is 200% straight.

All of the above. In addition, he was wise enough to realize that the soundtrack
was an integral part in films, and wise enough to choose the best.

The Ecstacy of Gold scene.  Tuco being framed by the noose as his glee turns to disbelief.
