It`s great to see that there are woman fans of genius Leone (many greetings to you all - you have very good taste). We here talk about woman, but unfortunately, there are many man who don`t want to even watch his films, or westerns generally. I personaly know a few. Their stupidity and loss I guess...

That's just because it's "taboo" for them to even go near a movie older than a decade.  They think anything that's old is autimatically bad.

My friend use to be like that, until I got her to watch The Godfather.

I absolutely agree with you. For them that is a taboo, but it is not a taboo to watch some stupid new films with no plot, with bad acting, bad direction..., nothing artistic... Like I said - their stupidity and loss...

They are dissing "Transforners" a new movie just out a couple of weeks ago based on a toy line, cars & etc., that you twist and  transform into robots.

It's sarcasm I believe.

The poster's intention was to cough the word "transformers" to let everybody know that the film was lifeless without actually saying "Transformers".
He suggested it with his cough. You could probably explain it better.

I think the joke originated on "The Simpsons".

Thank you people for your good effort to clarify this to me (I am old enough too, to know what the transformers are, but I didn`t understand the joke).  :)
