I never liked her, don't like what she stood for, but I feel bad for her. She was a girl who had a lot of problems, and had nobody to turn to for help. Very sad.

I've already expressed my opinion on this several times, but I came across an excellent post on the IMDB that epitomizes my sentiments:

She had a kid, so what, s/he's probably better off without Anna for a mom.
