I have yet to see Waterworld starring Kevin Costner. Back when it came out, I remember the terrible reviews it had got, and I wasn't interested in seeing it at that time. Now through the years, I have read that it's extremely underrated. Is this true?

hmmm.. im not sure.. i do remember being severely disappointed with it when it came out... i was also very young.... i do remember it being better on more recent viewings, but i still haven't seen it in years.

It's just Mad Max 2 with boats, and Costner instead of Gibson.
