The whole film, as with all his works, are constant favourite moments.
Indio's not been represented here enough so have a couple :
The "I'm letting you live hero" scene and when Volante literally screams his men into action "Go and get them baaack"  All his stage career prowess coming out, quality.

I watched this for the first time in yonks the other day and a scene I like is where everyone is counting how long it takes the guards to walk around the bank.  Not exciting, but to me a fantastic piece of filming.

I agree! The music is so great at the end when Blondie...heu when Monco arrives!

But I can't hide my admiration when Mortimer shoot his first victim! When the man falls (what a strange face!!!) just in front of our screen!

Strange faces fill the films, but the one you mention has to be one of the oddest.  I still can't see much of a resemblance between him and his wanted poster though.

Leone and his team present us one delicious detail after another, but my favorite is when it is revealed that the colonel was not looking for money. With the change of this key premise we were gifted with a new eye for everything shown before. The colonel wanted the man with no name as a partner since the beginning (and rewarded him accordingly).

Hey, Good Colonel: I disagree that "the colonel wanted the man with no name as a partner since the beginning".  I think the only reason Mortimer partnered up with No Name  was that he was concerned that No Name may otherwise dispose of Indio FIRST.

Hey, Cusser: The partnership would be very convenient, since they had different interests that could be easily arranged to match. The colonel could have this clear at least since they "have shaken hands" in the "hats duel".
