Hombre is a very good choice. BTW, it comes from a novel written by Elmore Leonard. Other films based on Leonard's Western stories are 3:10 to Yuma and The Tall T. Check 'em out.

Hi Cole welcome aboard, one great thing about coming new to Leone and his Westerns is that you may notice something that hasn't come to light before, and that is always a pleasant surprise. Enjoy!

Well its starting to shut down now up here with the weather, you can still catch some nice smallies and trout in the reservoirs as they build up their fat reserves for the winter.

Hi, I chose Colonel Ruiz as my forum name because I figured that Tuco, Blondie, Frank, etc. would all be taken.  I was 13 when I saw GBU for the first name and have been a big Leone fan ever since.  A Leone movie will definately turn a kid into a lifelong movie buff.  Thank you for this awesome site and I look forward to finding my way around here.    Smiley

P.S.  I saw that list of westerns a few posts back.  Shouldn't the Ox-Bow Incident be on there?  Its my second-favorite Henry Fonda movie...any guess which is first?   Grin

1) There is a The Ox-Bow Incident thread. It is the last listed in the American Western Index, under ''O''.
2) Uh, tough one... OUATITW? Cheesy
