Check out this bizzare trailer for Lawman it shows the SW influence too bad they didn't use the score cut they used in the trailer rather than what they used in the film.  Cool

Wierd mechanical voice over predates Westworld/Robocop, lol

Any body remember any other examples like this of an AW with a SW type trailer?

That's some trailer, joe.  Maybe its cause I've seen Lawman, but this trailer sure does give away a lot of the end.  I guess if you hadn't seen it and you're going in blind, it wouldn't matter, but it basically shows everyone he kills in the movie.

Thanks for posting though.  Entertaining stuff.

If that's the case then this film seems a bit to talky. Is it?

Action looks nice and the squibs are a nice touch. I wonder why most SW directors at the time wouldn't (or couldn't) use the same graphic squibs in their movies.

EDIT: also I like the myserious guitar rifts (if that's what their called) in the soundtrack.
Don't care for the heroic American stuff.

I wouldn't call it talky, but there is a good number of talking scenes, if that makes sense.  But its not "bad talky," the cast makes sure of that.  Lancaster, Ryan, and Cobb make the most of the dialogue they're given.  Well worth a watch, Firecracker.
