didn't Leone have negative feelings toward Scorsese? Huh
I think I read somewhere that Taxidriver was one of Leone's favourites. And I don't think the comment about Dafoe means that he started hating Marty after that. Cheesy

I was just watching the DVD on a HD screen, and it looked OK, but definetely not HD material. Colors, contrast, light are off from shot to shot, too much edge enhancement, and lots of aliasing unless you upscale the image. This version is in my opinion just crappy and Martin Scorcese needs to make sure the new version reflect the original film colors, an issue a definitive version on HD, possibly with the original theatrical cut as a seamless branching extra.

Let's all make a pact. When the HD release of OUATITW is announced, we all buy new players. Afro

Why, you wouldn't want to see a leone film in the best shape ever ? You can get HD players for 99 bucks these days.

I don't need to buy a HD DVD player. The standard DVD is fine for me.
