2003. I found a bit too late. In this world, a man's life depends on any scrap of information.

I have the Korean DVD with both the American and Italian versions on two discs(The Italian has the final flashback, naturally). Does the Japanese version have anything that the others don't?

The complete English edition released in Japan has the third ending. I don' know what it exactly is though. I'm curious myself. But this DVD costs 300 bucks!!

Yesterday, I went to a DVD store in Shinjuku, Japan to buy DYS Complete edition with Italian but it was out of print already. I was expecting that, but still disappointing. I will try Tower Video tomorrow.

I actually managed to get a copy of the Stingray edition. A girl I used to work with was half Japanese and her parents live in Tokyo and I got her to ask her mother to order it in, then post it to me in Australia. It was great to see it fully uncut (this was in 2003) but unfortunately the picture quality was only avaerage, nowhere near as good as the UK special edition. It was a two disc set with two slightly different cuts of the film, one of the cuts containing the long flashback. I haven't watched it in a long time, so I'm not sure about any other differences, but I'd advise against getting it as the picture quality is average at best - at least it's the correct aspect ratio, though...

I know.

It's just a fine piece of DVD cover artwork.

Just wish Steiger was with him.

And having it R1 would be more convenient.
