I'm here in Hollywood, and am just wondering why this guy doesn't have his own star! I'm guessing because he's a foreign director? I don't think this should matter. The guy made some of the greatest movies ever and he deserves a star a long with Ennio Morricone!

Well, I'm extremely pissed about that too. He's only the greatest director ever.

Maybe Leone is not popular in Hollywood. How about Kurosawa or Fellini or Bergman? Do they have stars on the sidewalk?

I'm almost certain neither of them do. The walk of fame only celebrates American artists. I could be wrong though.

I think the Stars are for people who worked in Hollywood which is why there are some non-American directors and actors there. (If you get selected to have one, nowadays you have to pay for it as well)

You also have to show up to the ceremony. They don't give many of these to dead guys.

1 posthumous Star is given each year.

I repeat, they don't give many to dead guys (didn't know the exact quota, thanks LA). So I guess it's possible for SL to get a star, although I would think the queue for dead applicants must be pretty long at this point.

Bergman has a star I'm pretty sure. I'm pretty sure I seen it.

I don't think Eastwood has a star either? I tried to find it when I was there and somebody told me he doesn't have one.

Update: just checked online - no star for Eastwood, but the "rugrats" have one....

The Rugrats, Kermit The Frog, Mickey Mouse, etc, etc all have stars. lol it's kind of laughable.
