One of my all time favorite monster flicks is coming out in an incredible 2 disc set with 3(!) versions of the movie. I have the Japanese DVD but this one will have even more features.

Nick Adams stars in this one along with the gorgeous Kumi Mizuno! Russ Tamblyn took over for Nick in the sequel (he was already dead from a supposed suicide) which became WAR OF THE GARGANTUAS here in the US.

HELL NO! It's from the same guy William Beudine who also did the slightly better BILLY THE KID VS DRACULA. These are two prime candidates for MST3K. I was reading my Paul Naschy autobiography last night and he was in one or two spaghetti westerns too.

These are two prime candidates for MST3K.
You mean they still make these?I hadn't heard of MST3k until a friend recently sent me Operation Kid Brother which is an Italian Bond rip off starring Sean Connery's younger brother Neil but there is a Morricone soundtrack.Unfortunately the running commentary, bobbling heads and time outs ruined any serious viewing of the movie though admittedly it looks truly bad Sad

No, but they're available (some of them) on DVD. Ask LA as he has them I believe. I have yet to purchase any of those discs although I have CAVE DWELLERS on VHS which is an aka for Joe D'Amato's ATOR THE BLADE MASTER the sequel to his own ATOR THE FIGHTING EAGLE all starring Miles O'Keefe.

I've an idea that my friend downloaded Operation Kid Brother off the net as the disc would only play on the computer so Boardwalk Angel (can't wait to see you back BA,i'm sure i'm not the only one who's missing you Cry)kindly put it onto a dvd for me.
I'm really not too sure if MST3K is my cup of tea.Its a bit like Beavis and Butthead with the robots talking over everything so i'm guessing that MST3k is from the 90's?

On those DVDs Banjo you have the choice of watching the movie with or without the "commentary".

No unfortunately which totally ruined any chance of watching Operation Kid Brother properly but it was still very apparent why Neil Connery's(sporting a very silly beard) movie career floundered afterwards. Grin
I take it the official MST3K dvds have the option of removing the commentary, and even better the bobbling heads?I'd like to see a link for the ones that are available. Wink

Nick Adams was also in DIE! MONSTER, DIE! and REBEL WITHOUT A CAUSE. He was so convinced he was going to win the best supporting actor award, that he stood up before the real winner was announced. The following year he was in Japan making monster movies and became one of the most beloved foreignors to ever work in their pictures. He also had an affair with the stunning Kumi Mizuno which led to his divorce in the States. His daughter doesn't think his death was a suicide, however.

Here's a link although you should act quickly as I think it's out of print.

http://www.amazon.com/Die-Monster-Boris-Karloff/dp/B0000542CO

It's paired with DUNWICH HORROR also from Corman and directed by his regular camera man Daniel Haller. Saw HORROR once and it's another US gothic (sort of).
