The one he was payed by De Laurentiis with a Ferrari car. Directed by De Sica. Anybody saw it? I did a couple of months ago and it was fun. They still thought he was an actor, at the time. And maybe he thought that too.

Are you talking about Le Streghe (1967)?

I think Eastwood didn't either.

It was called The Witches, and it stunk very badly! Hands down worst Eastwood flick ever. And it beats Tarantula and Paint Your Wagon for that honor. But the ladies at least get to see Clint running around in his tighty whities!

He apparently never played another character like it.
Personally I couldn't bare to watch the whole way through. Skipped around a bit.

Hey Firecracker. I know some films are unbearable to watch sometimes but how do you know what the heck is going on if you skip around the first time you watch it? I know I'd be lost if I did that.  haha

I put up with the first video but skipped around in the second.
I didn't put that one up.

Though not De Sica's best movie, I still prefer it to HEH and Josey Wales or The Gauntlet (Mangano, at 37, is still gorgeous, BTW).
Maybe watching this movie (if he ever did) he realized definitely that he should stick to oaters and, maybe, action movies. Hold dear to Leone's gift.

Interesting to see the clip.  Looks like this was one of those films with segments directed by more than one director....De Sica, Visconti, Pasolini, Bolognini and Rossi....

I can't believe Eastwood would sign up to be in that!
