I'll update with a couple of old and new entries to my archive:

Here are two scarce Spanish first release LC's.
Plus the two Spanish first release posters.

Here's two UK LC's, a Mexican LC and my first three US LC's. Hard to get those suckers :)

The Belgium poster, an Italian first
release 2-foglio and a German RR-set from 1980 that features two shots from FDM!

OK, so why do the two bottom "Zwei Glorreiche Halunken" cards show stills from "For a Few Dollars More" ?

Is this an intentional/unintentional screw up, like during the tiltles of "Goldfinger" all the scenes are from the film except a clip of the helicopter scene from "From Russia with Love" ?

Anyways, great stuff !

On the German Dr.NO rr-poster from 1968 is an image from FROM RUSSIA...
Promo department have their ups and downs. Check the GIU LA TRSTA thread I just opened.
THE HUNTING PARTY is on the rr-set printing the same year this GBU-set was printed. And
I love the half tracks and tanks on the Turkish poster :)

I wish I could find that still of Tuco firing the cannon.  :(

Hi guys,
I have always wondered where the picture of TUCO dressed in mexican garb swinging the rifle, comes from on the front of the GBU soundtrack and on some of the posters. The one about "for three men the cival war wasn't hell it was practice" .
They actually look like drawings of pictures...though colours wrong, and dont remember Angel eyes in blue trousers... etc....Well just looking at some of the photos in this memorabilia thread, there is one of TUCO where he threatens to hit Blondie with a spade in the cemetery..the German photos I think. The stance and position look exactley like the one on the poster. So I reckon they have taken that photo and edited it, drawing him in mexican dress and changing the shovel for a rifle. Why I dont know?....maybe more colourful
The only time I remember TUCO in this dress is the Siccorro scene, when he is in the cave, and when he chases and catches Blondie, I dont remember him swinging a rifle. Any thoughts, am I off track here? :-\ :-\

Probably just the artist modifying what he/she has seen in production stills. I'm pretty sure the drawings of Blondie and AE are also not found anywhere in the film. AE with a rifle in union garb??

Yeah....it looks like Blondie is firing the cannon, but he doesn't have the poncho on at that moment in the film...so it must be from a still somewhere..

Very interesting that GBU sheets in picture 4 and picture 5 (and maybe others, didn't look that close) show Van Cleef as Mortimer.  #4 shows Indio dead on the ground, and #5 definitely is in Mortimer outfit in its top photo.

The picture of Clint on the horse from that set is from FAFDM as well. I think with re-issues they probably just had a bunch of stills from both movies and someone wasn't paying that much attention. It's funny how much younger Angel eyes looks, must be the sideburns.
